Past Experience:
Michelle has worked as a pediatric occupational therapist since 1992 and served children
in private clinics and public school/Early Intervention settings.
Therapy Experience:
Michelle is certified in the administration and interpretation of the Sensory Integration
and Praxis Test (SIPT). She participates in continuing education courses regularly to
remain updated on new techniques and treatment ideas. Michelle practices cranial-sacral
therapy and has studied extensively with the Upledger Institute. She has incorporated
cranial-sacral philosophies and treatment into her sessions since 1995. Michelle is
committed to helping children and their families understand and integrate their nervous
systems. She has lectured for groups of teachers, parents, and other professionals to
further this understanding.
Outside Interests:
Michelle is the "mamma" to two young boys who keep her busy exploring Portland parks and
playgrounds. She is an avid quilter and also enjoys reading and gardening. |
